For those of you who emailed me about this I have made a tutorial on how to download and render clips from Black Ops multiplayer, here’s my guide:
You will need:
  1. A 30 Second Clip
  2. Access to the internet on a PC or Mac
  3. A YouTube account
  4. A YouTube Downloader (Software)

How To Download and Render Files and Clips in Black Ops Guide

  1. In theater mode, make a clip that is NO LONGER than 30 seconds. This is really important.
    1. Open MY RECENT GAMES to access files of your in-game matches.
    2. Select the film from which you would like to record a video clip segment or capture a screenshot and choose SELECT FOR PLAYBACK
  2. Make your clip and save it.
  3. Then from there exit theater mode and go to the theater lobby.
  4. Render Clip will now be selectable. Go ahead and select it.
  5. It will take some time to render and upload your clip.
  6. Once it is done, go to theater.callofduty.com.
    1. From here, link your gamertag (or PSN Name) AND your YouTube account, & sign in to Black Ops My Theater.
There you will see you your file share in all it’s glory.
After you know which clip you want to download, find a YouTube down-loader application, use that to actually download the file to your computer.
(Here’s one I use, it’s Free)
